Tarpon Belly Keys Adventure

Because of our motorized guide yak, our customers can reach destinations only the most athletic could by paddling. We can cover miles of back country creeks, and cross windy channels with ease. You can bring the whole family and not worry about junior keeping up. This factor alone makes us the safest and most enjoyable kayak and paddleboard adventure there is in the lower FL Keys.

Stop At: The Paddleboard Man, 21423 Overseas Hwy, Cudjoe Key, FL 33042, USA

The Tarpon Belly Keys are a local favorite, camping is allowed, the sunsets are amazing, there's a beautiful coral reef just off the beach and this is the island that the shrimp farming industry really perfected the art. There are HUGE dredged cuts going through the island that push 20' deep with vertical walls and caverns down the length. The natural flow of the tide replaced the pumps and the operation flourished. Government regulations eventually pushed the shrimp farms to South America but not before they left their mark on this beautiful landscape. This trip is a longer one but a fresh grilled lunch is included and is prepared by one of our tour guides. Expect 1-3 hours on the island or paddling around it.
