The Krishna Experience

Have a guided tour of the Museum and temple, visit the ashram (monks’ living quarter), dine at Govinda’s restaurant and visit the Krishna’s oriental boutique.

In the course of a 90 minute private tour, a curator will guide you through the museum to answer questions you may have and he will provide supplemental comments and an interactive “spiritual IQ test” as a fun group activity. Then, a monk will accompany you to our temple next door to give an introduction to the beautiful on-going deity worship (arati). Next stop is the living quarter of the monks (ashram) where you will be introduced to the Vedic social and economic system (Varnashrama-dharma). Finally, you would dine at Govinda’s Vegetarian Buffet and visit Govinda’s boutique carrying an eclectic mix of handicrafts, clothing, jewelry & artwork from around the world.

Stop At: Diorama-museum of Bhagavad-gita, 3764 Watseka Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90034-4005

In the course of a 45-minute self-guided tour, you will be treated with an aural/visual delight, introducing different topics of the Gita through eleven intricately designed life-size dioramas. Each diorama will automatically start a light and sound show as you go through a dark hallway only lit on the floor.
