The Mysterious Blackwater Creek- 9 mile paddle

This adventure is for the serious wilderness seeker. We do not recommend this to a beginner (we do offer this as a guided tour). Your route downstream is small and sometimes difficult to navigate while on the upper 2 miles.

Expect to come across alligators, bobcats, otter, large birds, and the occasional manatee or black bear.

Itinerary

We will shuttle you inside the Seminole State Forest and get you situated on the water. You will then paddle the very remote and wild Blackwater Creek. Upon reaching the Wekiva River you will paddle downstream until you reach the take out at Highbanks ramp. We will pick you up and return you to our office.
