This 7-day tour of the mountains of Colorado, beginning in the central Colorado location of Aurora, takes you into the Rocky Mountains where you will get a close-up view of beautiful scenery highlighting some of the finest mountain riding in North America. Ranging from open mountain meadows to majestic mountains mixed with peaceful woodlands.   
This tour takes in the majestic Rocky Mountain National Park, bringing you up close to fantastic wild life while enjoying some incredible riding. 

This tour is suitable for Intermediate or Advanced riders only. Tight corners with high elevations require close attention to detail. Note: USA drivers drive on the right-hand side of the road.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive in Aurora

Stop At: SuperShuttle, 7500 E 41st Ave, Denver, CO 80239, USA
After getting met at the airport, shuttle to your hotel to check in.
Duration: 45 minutes

Stop At: SuperShuttle, 7500 E 41st Ave, Denver, CO 80239, USA
Shuttle to the motorcycle rental location to pick up your bike.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 2: Ride to >14,000 feet

Stop At: Mount Evans Scenic Byway, Denver, CO
Today will take you up to >14,000 ft. This is a fantastic start to an exciting tour.
Duration: 2 hours

Accommodation included: Relax in a modern hotel with great views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 3: Independance Pass

Stop At: Independence Pass, Hwy 82, 20 miles E of Aspen, Aspen, CO 81611
Stop for photos while crossing this high pass. Enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Duration: 20 hours

Stop At: Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, 401 N River St, Glenwood Springs, CO 81601-3144
Soak the evening away in these fantastic hot pools, while surrounded by the Rockies.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Day 4: Winding Roads and Deep Canyons

Stop At: Royal Gorge Bridge and Park, 4218 County Road 3a, Canon City, CO 81212-3663
Enjoy riding across the 400 foot deep Royal Gorge.
Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Curecanti National Recreation Area, Black Canyon Of The Gunnison National Park, CO 81230
Ride the top of the canyon through fantastic twisters.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 5: America's Mountain

Stop At: Pikes Peak, Highway 24, Colorado Springs, CO 80809
Ride to the summit of this 14,000 ft. mountain. Enjoy the views from this spot. Get lots of photos for bragging rights.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Garden of the Gods, 1805 N. 30th St., Colorado Springs, CO 80904-1247
Ride and walk through this amazing area of beautiful rock formations. Stop at the Indian Trading Post for lunch.
Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes

Accommodation included: A turn of the century hotel with modern facilities and a great restaurant in Manitou Springs is your stop for the night.

Day 6: Rocky Mountain National Park

Stop At: Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado, USA
Ride across the spectacular Trail Ridge in the National Park. Be on the look out for Moose and other wild life. A stop at the summit gives you great photos.
Duration: 4 hours

Day 7: Return to Aurora

Stop At: Peak to Peak Scenic Byway, Highway 7, 72 and 119, Estes Park, CO
Ride the Scenic Byway, as you travel along the base of the mountains.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: SuperShuttle, 7500 E 41st Ave, Denver, CO 80239, USA
After dropping off your rental bike take a Shuttle to your hotel for the night.
Duration: 30 minutes

Day 8: Airport to Home.
