AVA's Idaho Springs zip line tour offers 6 exciting zips through the beautiful Clear Creek Valley, plus 5 additional features such as our Jungle Bridge, 50-foot cliffside free fall, Surf Zip, 600-foot dual race line, & Bridge of Doom. The course is weaved into our forested, 9-acre private property with stunning mountain views. Starting high in the canyon, there’s just enough time to warm up before you drop into the first class IV rapid. You will encounter 30 major rapids on this 8-mile trip dropping an incredible 1,300 vertical feet.

You begin your day flying from ridge to ridge over a forest of Douglas Fir and Ponderosa Pines. Then start descending into the forest flying from tree to tree at speeds up to 30 miles mph as you make your way down the mountain

Finish off with an exciting 450 foot line running directly over Chicago Creek and landing in the backyard of our office. Our course follows the contours of the mountain providing a truly unique experience.

Lunch Break

Between rafting and zip lining enjoy time for a picnic on our deck or head into town (2 min drive, 5 min walk) to grab a bite before embarking on the second half of your adventure.

Upper Clear Creek Whitewater Rafting Trip

Raft the exciting and technical whitewater of Clear Creek on our intermediate-advanced stretch of whitewater.

Starting high in the canyon, there’s just enough time to warm up before you drop into the first class IV rapid. You will encounter 30 major rapids on this 8-mile trip dropping an incredible 1,300 vertical feet.

This continuous, steep, technical section will keep your paddle moving and your heart thumping as your crash through pulsing, Class IV rapids such as Phoenix, Nomad, Falls Creek, and Outer Limits.
