Stop At: Hoover Dam Access Road, Boulder City, NV 89109

The first stop on this fun tour is The Hoover Dam, a world-famous man-made wonder and one of the most miraculous construction achievements of the 20th century. It was completed in just 4 years due to ingenious construction planning and execution by dedicated laborers. Visitors can see both the beautiful waters of Lake Mead and the powerful Colorado River. And, a popular photo op is a picture of you with one foot in Nevada while at the same time standing in Arizona!!

Stop At: Lake Mead National Recreation Area, NV 89005

We then take a drive along Lake Mead and viewing a luxury vacation resort/golf course community modeled after a famous destination in Italy, where some of the greatest stars in Las Vegas live such as Celine Dion and Denzel Washington.

We travel parallel along Lake Mead and through some beautiful desert landscape before reaching an incredible desert Oasis, Rogers Spring, with beautiful crystal clear water flowing in the middle of this arid desolate landscape!

Stop At: Valley of Fire State Park, 29450 Valley of Fire Hwy, Overton, NV 89040

Next photo stop is the entrance sign to Valley of Fire State Park and the unusual and special rock formations like Elephant Rock and the Seven Sisters before making a stop at the Visitor Center and its Gift Shop. Making our way into the loop of Valley of Fire with its breathtaking red rock formations, we make a stop at the famous Mouse’s Tank and a short walk to the Petroglyph Canyon. Next, a photo opportunity at Rainbow Vista and Fire Canyon taking in the awesome ever-changing pink and pastel colors and then, we make our way to the famous Fire Wave - a must-see!

Lunch is served picnic-style under a covered picnic table area at the White Domes with much discussion about the area and it early ancestry.

After an easy walk through White Domes Canyon and a look at an old Hollywood movie set, the next stop takes us to the 4000-year-old Petroglyphs at Atlatl Rock and very rare view of the early Native American sketches. As we make our way out of the Park we marvel at the eroded Sandstone and sand dunes found here that are more than 150 million years old.

This is a day PACKED full of incredible visuals...incredible memories.
