The Tannese culture is closely linked with our natural environment, so it is fitting that part of our tour includes a guided walk from our village down to Vanuatu’s (& possibly the worlds) biggest banyan tree, which has to be seen to be believed! It is the village children's own personal jungle gym and boasts of at least 3 trunks and a canopy expanse filling an entire valley. Here you will wind your way through a network of pathways in and around, up, over and through the giant tree.

Stop At: Giant Banyan Tree, 1km North of Lenakel, Tanna Island Vanuatu

The first part of your tour will take you to Vanuatu’s (& possibly the worlds) biggest banyan tree, which has to be seen to be believed! It is the village children's own personal jungle gym and boasts of at least 3 trunks and a canopy expanse filling an entire valley. This can be explored by taking a tour where you will wind your way through a network of pathways in and around, up, over and through the giant tree.
