4 Day Hanoi-nghia Lo-mu Cang Chai-sapa-bac Ha-hanoi Privat Tour

This trip will take you to the most isolated but also very beautiful area to the far North of Vietnam where you can see lots of different hill tribes. Mostly untouched by tourists, you will have great chances to discover great nature, scenery as well as hospitable hill tribe people on the trip.

DAY 1: HANOI – DUONG LAM – NGHIA LO (-/L/D)

Morning, pick up at your hotel and we will take one hour drive to the ancient village of Duong Lam, the place so called “Hoi An of the Red River Delta” as still preserve many hundred-year-old houses. It will be your unique experience as you walk along tiny ancient alleys, visit Communal House in Mong Phu hamlet - the only hamlet whose original village entrance gate remains intact, dedicated to national heroes. Enjoy the great home hosted lunch in traditional atmosphere in the most beautiful ancient house in the village of Mr. Huyen then driving up to Nghia Lo. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of mountain area along the way. We can stop to visit the village of Thai and Mong people along the way before arriving to Nghia Lo.

 Day 2: NGHIA LO – MU CANG CHAI –THAN UYEN – SAPA (B/L/D)

Today we take a long but very scenic drive from Nghia Lo to Sa Pa. Enjoy the peaceful green rice field of Tu Le, great scenery of terrace rice field at Mu Cang Chai, spectacular view of Hoang Lien Son Mountain range in the beautiful drive from Than Uyen over Tram Ton Pass to Sapa. Upon arrival, check in your hotel in Sa Pa. The rest of the day is free at leisure.

 Day 3: TA VAN- GIANG TA CHAI – BAC HA (B/L/D)

The day is devoted to a beautiful hike through the breathtaking scenery. Walk through a bamboo forest to Giang Ta Chai, a Red Dao ethnic minority village. After taking a rest nearby a waterfall to refresh, you start climbing uphill to a road where the car is ready for your journey back to Sapa. Transfer to Bac Ha and check in homestay.

 Day 4: BAC HA – LOCAL MARKET (SUNDAY MORNING) - HANOI (B/L/-)

Morning, you enjoy one of the most colorful market in the northwest of Viet Nam. The Bac Ha market is held on every Sunday morning. From 7AM to 11 AM. After spending the morning exploring the market, we can walk to visit the Hmong King’s former residence and Ban Pho, where villagers make a potent maize alcohol. After Lunch the local restaurant, transfer back to Hanoi. Tour concluded.

 Notes: The ethnic minority market is one of the interesting things to see in the northern mountains. We have several options for you to choose from on different days of the week.
