Itinerary

Day 1: HANOI – PU LUONG

Pass By: Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Pho Doan, Thanh Hoa 448100 Vietnam
Easy Trek to Chieng Lau, Yen, Ba villages, Bamboo rafting on Cham Stream:

07:30 – 08:00 Pick-up at Hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to go to Pu Luong Nature Reserve by Limousine Bus.

09:00 Short break in Luong Son (Outside of Hanoi).

11:00 Stop at the local market of the Muong Ethnic Minority; enjoy the beautiful scenery of Thung Khe Pass (One of the 10 most beautiful passes in Vietnam).

12:00 Arrival in Mai Chau and transfer to a van to go to Pu Luong Reserve nature

13:00 Check in and lunch at Pu Luong Eco Garden – The Mountain Retreat.

14:30 – 17:30 Board the van to the starting point. Following the small road through the terrace rice and sugar cane fields, cross the Hanging Bridges to visit other remote rural villages of Thai Ethnic. Stop at the giant waterwheels, ducks farm to learn about the agriculture before getting on the Bamboo Raft for a relaxing cruise on Cham stream (cruise depending on weather conditions).

17:30 Pick up the van to go to the Eco Garden – Mountain Retreat. Enjoy swimming in the Infinity Pool.

19:00 BBQ Dinner at the lodge, enjoy some local rice wine. Have a quiet night in the middle of the Reserve.

Day 2: EXPLORE KHO MUONG VILLAGE& DOI CAVE – NINH BINH 120km

Pass By: Pu Luong Nature Reserve, Pho Doan, Thanh Hoa 448100 Vietnam
07:00 – 08:00 Have breakfast in the lodge. Enjoying the breathtaking view from Pu Luong Eco Garden – The Mountain Retreat.

08:30 – 12:00 Trek following the small roads through the terrace rice fields and cross the stream to visit remote hidden village of Kho Muong to learn about the local people in Pu Luong.(6kms) Explore Doi Cave (Bat cave), this is the largest cave in Pu Luong. (Depending on the weather condition)

12:00 Back to the Eco Garden – The Mountain Retreat, check out.

13:00 Have lunch and have free time to relax in the Infinity pool or walking around the village before boarding the car to go to NinhBinh at 14:30.

17:30 Arrive in Ninh Binh Retreat, check in and have free time.

19:00 Have dinner at the retreat

Day 3: CYCLYING TO HOA LU ANCIENT CAPITAL & TRANG AN - HANOI

7:30 – 8:30 Breakfast at the Retreat

8:30 to 12:00 Cycling through the limestone karsts to reach 2 temples of the first 2 Emperors in the 10 th Century in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital hike up the Ma Yen Mountain to visit the King’s tomb in 10th century and enjoy the panorama view from the mountain. On the way back, stop in a local family to discover daily life and culture and share a tea with them.

12:00 -13:30 Check out and have lunch at the Retreat

13:30 -16:00 Go to Trang An for a boat ride in between the karst pics and enjoy the beautiful scenery and peaceful atmosphere.

16:00 Board the bus to go to Hanoi.

19:00 Drop off in Hanoi old quarter.

Day 4: HANOI – BA BE LAKE

Pass By: Hua Ma Cave, Quảng Khê, Ba Bể, Quảng Khê Ba Bể Bắc Kạn, Vietnam
Our tour guide will pick you up by car at your hotel around 7:30-8:00am, as an early start is necessary for all we have in store for you today. On the way to Ba Be National Park, we will stop in a local village to enjoy lunch in a restaurant, before our route takes us up through the mountains and tea plantations on the road to Ba Be Lake.

You will then travel to the Tay village of Coc Toc, where the houses are built in traditional Tay fashion on stilts. The local Tay population is extremely friendly to visitors and will welcome you with open arms, introducing you to their way of life central pillars of which are fishing on the lake and rice-farming.

This is where you will spend the night in a homestay, to really get an intimate look at Tay culture and daily life. After checking in at the homestay, your afternoon will be free to spend as you wish, though we recommend going for a walk to explore the beautiful surroundings. Following this, we will take you to Hua Ma Cave, featuring thousands of stalactites and stalagmites.

The rest of the day is again yours to do with as you please, though we offer the optional activities of guided walks/bike rides around Coc Toc Village and kayaking trips on the lake. If you’d rather spend the rest of the day relaxing and enjoying the serene views, then that’s also an option.

Highlights and activities: Hua Ma Cave, Ethnic Village, and a 3-5km walk.

Day 5: BA BE LAKE – HANOI

Pass By: Puong Cave, Khang Ninh, Ba Bể District, Bắc Kạn Province, Vietnam
After breakfast we’ll kick the final day of the tour of by boarding a boat and setting off onto the lake. It’s up to you how to spend your time on the boat, whether it’s relaxing and enjoying the views or going for a swim in the cool waters to refresh yourself.

The views consist of stunning karst formations all around you covered with patches of wild vegetation and a rich wildlife. The boat will then continue along the Nang River, giving you a chance to explore the caves of Puong Grotto where you can marvel at the stalactites and stalagmites created through river erosion, as well as observe the thousands-strong bat colony that lives here. After your exploration of the lake, you will have the chance rest as we drive you back to Hanoi, taking in the beautiful scenery along the way. You will stop for lunch at a local restaurant on the way before arriving in Hanoi at about 17:30

Day 6: HANOI – HALONG BAY BY OASIS PARTY CRUISE 5*

7h45 - 8h15 Pick up customers to transfer to Ha Long Bay. We will have a 3 to 4 hour bus ride to Tuan Chau Harbour. The Party Cruise bus is comfortable and fully air conditioned.

12h30 Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbour for a 30 minute break before taking a ferry boat to the Halong Party Cruise.

13h30-14h45 Check into your cabin put your bags down and then enjoy a real Vietnamese lunch while the boat begins to cruise majestically through Halong Bay. There is a magic or an energy that you feel when cruising through the Bay that is just lovely and amazing. Passing by Stone Dog Islet, Floating Fishing Village, Incense Burner Islet, and Swan Islet, Duck Islet…

15h - 17h00 Spend at least 2 hours kayaking through the tunnel to explore the off the beaten track area of Frog Pond in the fairy land of Halong Bay.

17h30 Sunset Party time with Boat Jumping and Swimming.

18h00 Re-board the Party Cruise, take a shower, and relax.

19h00 Evening meal in the dining room.
