Itinerary

Day 1: Cat Ba – Cai Beo Harbour – Lan Ha Bay – Dark Cave – Ba Trai Dao Beach

Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba Vietnam
7.45: Meeting point : Cat Ba Vision office at 190 – 1/4 road in Cat Ba Town
8.00: Get on the mini-bus to transfer to BEO DOCK (Just 5 minutes away from the office)
8.15: Get on the boat and start cruising by going through BEO floating fishing village, passing out
Monkey island (We don’t stop at Monkey island to avoid the crowds of Vietnamese tourists), keep
cruising around Lan Ha Bay to enjoy hundreds of amazing landscapes of limestone islands.
9.30: Stop to visit the biggest fishing farm (Spending 20 to 25 minutes to walk around the farm for
hunting some pictures of the fishes and discovering how does Vietnamese fishermen earn their livings)
10.00: Continue the trip by passing out the Buddha Island before crossing the border to get out of
Lan Ha Bay to be in Ha Long Bay. Keep cruising along the less touristic parts where you can sight-
seeing to Bai Tu Long Bay. The boat brings you go up to the North part of the bay and then anchor at a very calm lagoon to have lunch.
11.50: Vietnamese food, seafood and vegetarian food lunch on the boat. After having lunch,
participants have time to relax by taking part in jumping, swimming or just playing photographer with the landscapes surrounds.
13.00: Pull the anchor out of the water to move to HANG CA AREA to do kayaking. Spending one
and a half hours on kayaking through DARK CAVE-BAT CAVE-MONKEY CAVE AND BRIGHT
CAVE to explore the beauty of the nature in hidden lagoons, enjoy bird-watching, squirrel-dancing,
monkey-jumping. After kayaking, we continue moving to swimming-snorkeling area named BA TRAI DAO
15.15: Arriving at BA TRAI DAO:
*Anchor nearby secluded sandy beach that separated from the crowds to go swimming, do snorkeling
*Snorkel gears for doing snorkeling will be provided by the tour guide
16.15: Back to the boat to move to the floating homestay to have overnight (The floating homestay is running by Vietnamese Navy. It’s located in a calm lagoon that is separated from other fishing families. You can enjoy sunset and sunrise from this location)
16.45: Check in and relax around the floating homestay
18.45: Vietnamese food and seafood dinner in the floating homestay
20.00: Paddle into small areas for nature enjoying- nature feelings and PLANKTON watching.
21.00: Overnight at floating house

Day 2: TUNG GAU LAGOON

Stop At: Lan Ha Bay, Cat Ba Vietnam
7.30: Sunrise breakfast with some free hot drinks
8.30: Start to do kayaking to explore TUNG GAU lagoon-The lagoon that the new KING KONG
movie made from (This is a very quiet area that you hardly see other tourists)
10.20: Go back to the floating homestay to have shower
11.15: Head back to the harbor by a high speed boat.
11.30: Lunch at the most famous local restaurant.
12.30: The trip ended. Drop off Cat Ba Vision office
