Tay Tay Workshop has been spreading Vietnamese Handicraft Experiences to hundred blissful guests by truly-local-art-lovers who are passionate Sculptor Hung with 10-year experienced, artistic Lead Designer Buzen and empathic Manager Huong. All three of us love spending time with people and helping them to accomplish their artworks. We believe that happiness created via art connections stays as precious moments.
First came as a risky idea, now Tay Tay is all our life. With a dream of creating a new kind of tourism for Vietnam in tourists’ perspective, we are trying to introduce traditional Vietnamese handicraft techniques through daily classes designed carefully for everyone, no art required. We believe in original hand design with imperfect beauty from everyone.

Itinerary

* Lotus is known as Vietnamese National Flower because of its pure beauty. Through a wood carving workshop with this special theme, we would love to deliver meaningful messages of Lotus in Vietnamese Tradition & Culture. On that way, you also get used to traditional wood sculpting techniques of Vietnam to create a wooden artwork all by yourself.
* * The 3-hour workshop has three main parts:
/1/ Introduction: Vietnamese Wood Carving History-Culture & Lotus to Vietnamese.
/2/ Practice: Learn & practice carving techniques on draft under instruction of 10-year experience Sculptor Hung.
/3/ Creation: Choose favorite real wood plate forms, then Carve Lotus it and Paint with colors (optional).
*** During workshop, our team takes moment photos. These are edited and sent to guests within 2 weeks.
**** Besides Lotus theme, we keep trying to spread Vietnamese Traditional & Cultural Values by various themes.
