Cat Ba Island 2 Days 1 Night

Cat Ba Island’s expansive beaches are relatively clean despite the growing numbers of resorts, hotels, restaurants, and tourist facilities. Swimming, snorkelling, and diving are the most popular things to do on the island. Travellers can also enjoy a day of trekking, caving, and rock-climbing on Cat Ba Island, specifically at the Cat Ba National Park. There are also an old fort on a hilltop, which houses several bunkers and rooms filled with war remains and propaganda posters.

ITINENARY

DAY 1 : HA NOI – CAT BA ISLAND – OVER NIGHT ON CRUISE

7h30 : Bus & tour guide will pick up you from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter area and transfer to Hai Phong city .

10h30 – 11h00 : Arrive Got harbor (Hai Phong City), get on speed boat to get Cat Ba Island.

11h00 – 11h30 : The car takes you going through Cat ba National Road to Cat ba town.

11h50 : Arrive in BEO Pier.

12h00 : Start checking in the boat.

12h15 : Start the cruise by going through BEO floating fishing village, passing out the Monkey Island and then keep cruising around Lan Ha Bay.

13 h10 : Dropping the anchor at a lagoon decorated with some sandy beaches surround for having lunch(Lunch prepared with Vietnamese food-seafood and vegetarian food mixing together)

14h00 : Continue moving to DAU BE Island for kayaking through THREE HIDDEN LAGOONS(This is a very big nature, less touristic area where you will see NO other people). Spending around 1,5hours (started from 3.00PM) for kayaking through three hidden tunnels to explore three hidden lagoons.

17h20 : The boat enters a calm lagoon to drop the anchor to stay overnight.

18h45 : Dinner will be served on the boat(Vietnamese food-seafood and vegetarian food dinner)

20h00 : Taking part in kayaking trip which lasts in 1,5 hours for nature enjoying and Plankton watching.

21h30 : Local fruits deserting

DAY 2 : LAN HA BAY – CAT BA ISLAND

7.30: Sunrise breakfast will be served with free hot drinks.

8.30AM: Continue the day by moving to visit TUNG GAU LAGOON (You will have unforgettable feelings from this landscapes where the new KING KONG film made from). Spending 2 hours for kayaking and small trek around this lagoon( You can also go swimming/do snorkeling in this site). It’s very amazing because of the beauty as well as the big nature.

11h00 : Lunch on the boat.

11h50 : Check out of the boat and then get on the bus to go back Beo habour

12.30 : The bus comes to pick you up and then bring you back to HA NOI after 4 hours. Our bus will drop you off at your hotel around 16h00 – 16h30 . The trip finishes.
