The Mekong is Vietnam’s richest agricultural region. The area offers an abundance of crops of all sorts. Vietnam’s rice bowl is also home to many handicraft workers that you will be able to meet along the way. Our lovely team will take you from village to village, boarding a few boats along the way and visiting local artisans to give you a deeper understanding of Vietnamese life on the river. Fully experience an area rich with traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and friendly locals.The Mekong only has a flat terrain making it the ideal place for bike-lovers wishing to explore more of Vietnam! This trip concentrates all the essence of the Mekong with Ben Tre, the coconut kingdom; local sampan boat rides on the Co Chi River; Cai Rang’s floating market and Tra Su National Reserve and Bird Sanctuary. After about 77km/day, the last day will be relaxing for your legs as you will board a speed-boat heading to Phnom Penh.
