Exploring country life at Elon farmstay

Elon farmstay is a local family business which is located between coffee farms and authentic village. We would like to give our guests an unique experience when they travel to Dalat city. You will be stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city and be a local in a country life. Every activity such as cooking, fishing, shopping, growing plant, feeding… will be taken place in local’s home. Besides, biking around our village, visiting well-known attractions, interact with lovely local people will be memorial experiences for you when visiting our village.

Itinerary

Day 1: Escape the hustle of Dalat city for the surrounding countryside with us

Stop At: Elon Farmstay, Quang Trung II Hamlet, Gia Lâm Commune, Gia Lâm, Lâm Hà, Lâm Đồng 670000, Vietnam
8:30 Our driver will pick you up at your hotel or Lien Khuong airport. Enjoy en route and mountain landscape on the way to our farm

9:00 Letting to know our family and let us greet you with a homemade herbal drink. After some time to relax, we will start discover the friendly locals by cycling through village, the coffee farm along lazy back roads. We also go to the local market to buy a great range of fresh produce (operating in the morning only) to prepare for our lunch then. You will have chance to learn how to cook Vietnamese food and have hearty local meal with organic vegetables that have grown in our gardens.

Stop At: Elephant Waterfalls, Gia Lâm, Lâm Hà District, Lâm Đồng, Vietnam
1:30 After lunch, we continue cycling through some of the country’s prettiest landscapes and visiting well-known tourist attractions near our farm. We will visit one of the most powerful waterfalls in our high land central – Elephant Waterfall. Enjoy the challenging journey and get down to the falls to get a better view from there.

Stop At: Linh An Pagoda, Nam Ban Town, Lam Ha, Lam Dong 61000 Vietnam
Visiting Linh An pagoda, the 2nd Truc Lam Zen Monastery at Dalat city. Enjoy relaxed atmosphere, hear the sound of the bell and the sound of Langbiang Mountain when getting here
Duration: 45 minutes

- Going fishing. Let enjoy and wait the coming interesting things.
- Meet children at one of local English classes
- Have dinner with the product from your fishing activity
- Going to local restaurant and enjoy one of the most famous dishes in this villge that you have to try. We will then coming back home to have a night party with Vietnamese rice wine and the product from your fishing activity

• Lunch: You will prepare the food by yourself. We will show you how to cook Vietnamese food with local ingredients.
• Dinner: Having NEM NUONG at alocal restaurant. If you have chance to try it once time, you will find another chance to try again
Accommodation included: Enjoying the peaceful and fresh atmosphere in our village by staying overnight at Elon farm

Day 2: Enjoy the sounds of countryside in the morning

6:00 You can wake up early to join with us the daily gardening and farming with a cup of freshly brewed Vietnamese coffee or tea. Satisfy the empty stomachs in the morning with our home-made breakfast. You can also visit one of our neighbors to learn the process of Vietnamese steamed rice rolls (Banh cuon – they only make in the morning). We will then take you to Silk farm to get exclusive souvenirs and see how to make them before we say fairwell to each other

8:00 Our driver will come to pick you up back to Dalat city center or Lien Khuong airport
