Big paddling adventure to see all the beauty of the untouched side of Cat Ba National Park & Lan Ha Bay

Day 1: Hanoi – Cat Ba Island – Tung Gau Lagoon

07.00 Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We drive to Hai Phong city before taking a ferry to Cat Ba Island. Upon arrival in Cat Ba, we leave the bus and take a boat ride to a floating homestay where we check in, have lunch and take a rest before begin our paddling time in the afternoon. We will paddle the untouched area of Tung Gau Lagoon and explore a part of Lan Ha Bay. There are few secluded beaches along the route for exploring. Paddle back to the floating homestay for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Tung Gau – Ba Trai Dao Lagoon – Dark Cave – Ke Lagoon – Gia Luan Quay

08.00 Breakfast at the camping site, pack up and begin our paddling adventure to Ba Trai Dao Lagoon, continue to Dark Cave. Paddle into the cave if the tide permits. Lunch on boat in Dark Cave Lagoon. Continue paddling toward the forest-of-rocky-islands on the other side of Cat Ba National Park. We wil reach Ke Lagoon around 4pm. Get on support boat and go to Gia Luan Quay. We will drive shortly to Green Valley Camp where we send our night in a house-on-stilts in a beautiful valley. Dinner and overnight in Green Valley Camp.

Day 3: Cat Ba National Park – Hanoi

Breakfast in Green Valley Camp. After breakfast we take a short drive to Cat Ba National Park. Trek up to the watch tower on the top of the mountain where we could have panorama view of the park an a part of Lan Ha Bay.

Trek back to the bus and drive to Military Hospital Cave. This natural cave was used as a military hospital during American War. Visit the site and learn about a part of our history.

Drive back to Green Valley Camp for lunch. After lunch we get on our bus and drive back to Hanoi. Trip ends in Hanoi.
