Hanoi Countryside Tour Farm - Bike - Homestay

Enjoy 02 peaceful & meaningful days at lovely village is an interesting experience in your life. You will stay with local host, do every thing with family like: feed animals, house work, cooking, working on the farm and biking around the village to visit fishing farm on the stunning river also. People here are very trust, open and hospitality.

Day 1: Hanoi – An Binh Village home stay

09:AM  you get the train from Hanoi Railway station to my house house at An Binh Village in Hai Duong province. (75 km from Hanoi = 02 hours). My house location is the same highway to Halong Bay or Cat Ba Island.

10:30 AM arrive Hai Duong Railway station, you are picked up by a driver and transfer to my house for 20 minutes. Upon arrive host greeting and i show you about my house, garden and my kind neighbors also.

11:00 AM you prepare cook lunch with my family and feed animals (a dog, some cats, doves and a cow)

01:30 PM Bike and walk to the farm where you can help the farmers on their field. Depend on the season you may work: harvest the rice, dry the straw, pick up the vegetable, watering, do the grass or feed the cow…even visit cemetery of the village to see special architecture.

05:00 PM come back home, clean the yard, feed animals (dog, cat, chicken…) and cook the dinner

07:00 PM Following my mother, we will walk to the old pagoda which is located in the middle of the field, you have chance to join with grandmothers reading the chant and offering the Buddha.  You also meet local monks and listen to story of Buddha as well as have more idea about the Buddhism religion. With peaceful atmosphere you can relax, meditate and refresh your soul before go home for a good night.

Day 2 Market – bike – Hanoi

06:30 Am Wake up! Wake up!  Let’s bike to morning market which is near by the field. When you come, you will know why people go to the market very early. You have chance to talk with local people who are very hospitality and smile all the time. Try some new food for breakfast or help local sell vegetable, butcher…

09:00 AM Biking to the Kinh Thay river. This is the most romantic river of my village. It is very beautiful, surrounding the village; all year round the river offer rich of alluvium for the village. The river is also a source of inspiration for famous Vietnamese poets such as Tran Dang Khoa and Nguyen Trai. Here, you also visit the floating fish farm on the river, meet and talk with the fishermen's family. Continue the bike ride on the green dike, you will see the lovely cows are grazing grass; the ducks are swimming in the pond.

12:30 PM back home to cook lunch and take a nap. If you would like to stay extra night, my family is highly welcome.

03 Pm A driver transfer you to the train station. Finish the trip.
