Heritage Route in Central Vietnam
Central Vietnam is characterized by a rich historical and cultural heritage, immense sandy beaches and magnificent national parks. Our trip to Vietnam makes us visit four world heritages classified with UNESCO: the ancient imperial city of Hue which abounds in palaces, the tombs, the temples, Hoi An - charming city museum, the mysterious vestiges of My Son, the caves exceptional of Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park.
Itinerary
Day 1: Da Nang, Hoi An
Stop At: Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture, No 2, 2 Thang 9 Street, Da Nang Vietnam
Your trip to Vietnam begins with a visit to the Cham Art Museum, the seaside town Danang. Built in 1915, this museum contains nearly 300 sculptures produced between the 7th and 15th centuries. We understand the importance of the ancient Hindu kingdom of Champa (192 - 1832) established in this region.

Stop At: The Marble Mountains, Hoa Hai, Ngu Hanh Son, Da Nang 550000 Vietnam
Transfer to Hoi An. En route, stop at the Marble Mountain. Workshops reveal skillful stonemasons. The Tam Thai pagoda, the Huyen Khong cave invite us to climb the side of the mountain. An elevator can be used.
Arrival in Hoi An.

Day 2: Hoi an
Stop At: Hoi An, Hoi An, Quang Nam Province
Hoi An was a prosperous city, located on the sea routes of the silk trade. Until now, this city, which has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, retains its original architectures, including its houses, temples, pagodas, streets.
Discovery successively of the small Japanese bridge, the sanctuary of Fugian - goddess of the sea, the old house Phung Hung, ...
Walk through the market and on the quays, very lively places at the end of the day and the evening.
Free evening to discover the romantic atmosphere of Hoi An.

Day 3: Hoi An, My Son, Hue
Stop At: My Son Sanctuary, Duy Phu Commune, Duy Xuyen District Vietnam
45 km from Hoi An, the My Son sanctuary (UNESCO heritage since 1999) is an ancient religious capital of the Hindu kingdom of Champa which dominated the region for several centuries. The remains of temples, towers and other deities have suffered tremendously over time, but also from the effects of war. Many restoration projects are underway.

Stop At: Kim Bong Carpentry Village, Cam Kim commune Riverside Village Road, Hoi An Vietnam
After visiting this sanctuary, suggestion to take a ride on the Thu Bon river and visit the Kim Bong carpentry village. These products were very well known in the 15th - 16th centuries thanks to the very active commercial port of Hoï An.

Stop At: Hue, Hue, Thua Thien - Hue Province
Depart for Hue. Planned stop on the Cloud Pass (Hai Van) for a panoramic view of Lang Co beach and the surroundings of Da Nang.
Upon arrival in Hue, free time for rest or personal visit.

Day 4: gee up
Stop At: Hue, Hue, Thua Thien - Hue Province
Day dedicated to the visit of Hue, the imperial capital from 1802 to 1945. We take the Perfume River to the pagoda of the Heavenly Lady (Thien Mu). Built in 1601 by a local lord, Nguyen Hoang, this Buddhist pagoda is wonderfully located, overlooking the river facing the mountains on the horizon.
Return to the city to visit the Imperial Citadel, where the last emperors of Annam of the Nguyen dynasty lived until 1945.
Located in the surrounding countryside, in places that breathe tranquility, the tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh fuel our curiosity for the afternoon.
On the way back, we discover all the secrets of making incense sticks.

Day 5: Hue, Phong Nha
Stop At: Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park, Quang Binh Province
Discovery day of the Phong Nha - Ke Bang national park, world heritage. On the way, crossing a place of war memory: the Hien Luong bridge which marked the border between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (north) and the Republic of Vietnam (south) before 1975.
Our tour takes us along the Son River before entering the Phong Nha Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in the world according to the British Cave Research Association. It has rocks, a river, spectacular underground lakes, magnificent stalactites in number and gigantic caves.
Walk and visit the Paradise Cave. 150m stalactites and stalagmites make it a fantastic setting!

Day 6: Quang Binh
Stop At: Quang Binh Province, Quang Binh Province
Free time for relaxation on Quang Binh beach. Possibility to stay one more day for a trekking through the jungle or to kayak and zipline.
Transfer to Dong Hoi Airport for the departure flight or the next destination of your Vietnam trip.
