This 2 day trip to Ninh Binh will cover the most highlights of Ninh Binh: visit to Hoa Lu – the ancient Royal Capital of Vietnam and Tam Coc with Halong type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious yet inviting caves; Bai Dinh complex is the biggest Buddhism center of South east Asia with hundreds of statues of different sizes and Trang An, a large ecological toursim, are belonging to Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex with the total area of 12.000 hectares.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc ( L,D )

Stop At: Hoa Lu Temple, Ninh Binh Vietnam
07:30 - 08:30: Our bus & tour guide will pick you up at the hotel in Ha Noi old quarter then depart for Ninh Binh province. On the half way stop for short break about 20 minutes
10:30: Arrive at Hoa Lu, which is once depicted the ancient capital of Viet Nam, settled up in the 10th century.
11:00: Visit temples of two dynasties of Dinh and Le with a very unique architectures in the old time.
11:30: Visit the excavation area beside the Le Dai Hanh temple. You experience the vestiges of Royal Palaces ground dated back 10th century. Go back to the bus and drive to Tam Coc.
12:30: After that, the bus will transfer you to Tam Coc and have lunch at the restaurant.
13:30: Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves "Hang Ca - First cave, Hang Hai -Second cave, Hang Ba - Third cave" to get a strange feeling.
15:30: Boat returns to Tam Coc pier. And then we have 45 minutes for cycling ride along country lane. Then back to hotel checkin and have dinner, free time and over night in the hotel.

Day 2: Bai Dinh - Trang An - Hanoi ( B,L )

Stop At: Bai Dinh Pagoda, Gia Vien District, Gia Sinh Vietnam
08:00 - 08:30: Wake up and have breakfast, then free time relax, drink tea or coffee,...
10:00: Check out and our tour guide pick you up transfer to visit Bai Dinh Pagoda
11:00: Arrive at Bai Dinh Pagoda - the biggest pagoda in Vietnam with 500 La Han statues, biggest bronze Buddha statue in Vietnam with 10 meters in height, 100 tons in weight.
12:30: Have lunch in local restaurant with some local special dishes
14:00: Depart to visit Trang An eco-tourism, take boat trip to visit cave complex: Sang Cave, Toi Cave, Ba Giot Cave, Nau Ruou in mystery and wildness, see scenery of mountain and rivers Ha Long on land of Ninh Binh. Or you can choose to visit Kong Films, take a photo shoot at Aboriginal village one of the main scenes in Hollywood blockbuster movie "Kong Skull Island"
16:00: Get on the bus back to Hanoi, on the half way stop for short break 20 minutes
19:00 - 19:30: Arrival at the hotel in Ha Noi old quarter. Tour ends !
