Hoa Lu – Tam Coc Day Trip

Hoa Lu ancient capital: In late 10th Century, Hoa Lu was the Capital as well as the economic, political cultural center to Dai Co Viet, an independent Vietnamese Nation founded in 968 A.D. By the local warlord Dinh Bo Linh and the Early Le founded be Le Dai Hanh. Following the demise of the Le Dynasty, in 1010 Ly Thai To, the founder of the Ly Dynasty, transferred the Capital to Thang Long(now Ha Noi), and Hoa Lu became the ' Ancient Capital '. Tam Coc : Halong Bay through rice fields: Tam Coc, which means ' three caves ', is a region that elapses between rice paddies, bathed by the Ngo Dong River punctuated by karstic rock formations and limestone caves. The rock formations, caves, water and landscape have made Tam Coc to be well-know as ' Halong Bay on land ' or ' Halong Bay on rice paddies '.
