Itinerary

Stop At: Bay Mau Coconut Forest, Cam Thanh Village, Hoi An Vietnam

8.00am Pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An and drive you to the docks on the Co Co River.

8.20am Our boat to take you onto the river and head downstream towards our first fishing destination. You will have a chance to learn how to lift the big fishing net out of the water and how to spread the unique fishing net named “RO” into a professional circle to catch fish and others daily activities of the local fisherman.

9.00am We arrive at The Coconut Palm area. Meet a local fishing family who will bring some traditional basket boats for us to board. You will be getting on a very unique round boat (Basket Boat) or Thung Chai in Vietnamese. Learning the technique how to drive the round boat and starting discovering the floristic composition with relaxing and then having fun with catching the special Purple Crabs.

10.20am Enkoy a cup of tea and and have a taste of what life is like for traditional fisher-folk. Back to the Bus pick up place.

11.00am After a short drive through the local countryside we arrive at Organic Herb Tra Que Village.

we take a walk around the village and learn about the history and customs of this charming village. Everyone is given farming instruments, and we set about joining the farmers in preparing the land for sewing or planting.

Time is then spent picking vegetables and herbs, and learning how to wrap them to prevent damage. Sharing with you about the traditional methods of gardening in organic way.

Enjoy the herbal foot massage with a real farmer concept.

Learning, preparing end enjoying lunch with the local family : “Tam Huu” spring rolls - using the local herbs and vegetables we have just picked or Xeo Cake ( Banh Xeo).
