Mekong 2-day Cai Rang Floating Market Private Tour From Saigon

Trip highlight: Discovery the peaceful atmosphere and daily life activities of local people in Mekong Delta, visit Cai Rang floating market, fruit garden and nursling garden of Mr. Tam Ho, cruising along small canal in Mekong Delta on local sampan, visit interesting local workshop that make pop rice, coconut candy and other local products.

DAY 1: SAIGON - CAI BE - CAN THO (-/L/D)

Morning we will drive from Sai Gon to Cai Be. Upon arrival, visit Cao Dai Temple in Cai Be before boating and enjoying the fresh air on the Mekong river, the tourists visit the Cai Be floating market, the original style of commerce on the Mekong river

Visiting the local poprice, coconut candy workshop and knowing the ways bee-breeding tasting honey tea by breezy river.

Crossing the Mekong river to An Binh island visiting a hundred year ancient house (Mr.Cai Cuong), a landlord’s one in the past, a combination between Vietnam-French architecture in the Mekong delta (if low tide, tourists will visit another local house, knowing about the daily activities of the locals).

Taking about 20 minutes for rowing sampan or cycling along the village paths with discovery feelings.

Boating to An Binh Garden, enjoying a cup of tea and some of the local tropical fruits and listening to the traditional music, is the best chance for relaxation.

Visiting the brick & pottery factory where the tourist  know how to make the brick and the pottery from the local clay and styles with the traditional technique. Back to the bus to drive to Can Tho, the capital city of Mekong Delta. Upon arrival, check in homestay. Walk around the village and cook dinner with hostess.

Day 2: CAN THO –SAIGON (B/-/-)

Morning take the early boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating market where local people whole sale all product of Mekong Delta. It will be great chance for taking part to the local activities and taking pictures. The boat will take you around the floating market 2 times to make sure that you will have enough opportunities for taking photos here. Then the boat will take you to visit the local bustling inland market where you can see all local products of Mekong Delta selling here. From the market, take the short ride on boat to the small local alley that you can walk along and experience the real daily life activities of local people here. Take the pleasant walk along the local village by the river bank and integrate with local people there before getting to local Rice Processing Factory. You will know exactly how the white rice had been made from paddy rice in here.  You will meet the car then transfer back to Saigon. Arrive to Saigon in the late afternoon.Tour Concluded.
