North Vietnam With Sapa and Halong Bay 8 Days

Explore the most charming places in Northern Vietnam. Start with visit to Hanoi which is a unique Asian city with tree-lined boulevards, French colonial architecture, peaceful lakes and oriental pagodas and temples. Then you will continue to Duong Lam the ancient village where you could explore the local villages and the red river delta quarters. After you will visit one of the most spectacular mountains and valley of Vietnam as Sapa with its unique culture. Besides that, cruising to the UNESCO World Heritage Halong Bay which is know as the Jewel in the Crown of Vietnam.

DAY 1: WELCOME TO VIETNAM - HANOI ARRIVAL

Upon arrival our driver will meet you at the airport and transfer to hotel, rest of the day will be at your own leisure.

DAY 2: HANOI SIGHTSEEING (B/L)

This full day tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Ho Chi Minh Complex, One Pillar Pagoda, Old Quarter, the Lake of the Restored Sword, Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, West Lake and Tran Quoc Pagoda. After the lunch you will visit one of the city's museums.

Please note that the HCM Mausoleum is closed on Fridays and Mondays and most museums are closed on Mondays.

DAY 3: HALONG BAY CRUISE (B/L/D)

In the morning, check-out from hotel and get pick-up by the Cruise at 7:30 am.  On arrival to Halong, you will take a cruise on the bay to explore the limestone rocks and the karst grottoes, you will visit limestone cave, will do kayaking an swimming. In the evening you could attend cooking demonstration before and squid fishing after dinner.

DAY 4: HALONG BAY CRUISE - BACK TO HANOI (B/L)

Today you will be back to Hanoi, on the way you will visit Cave of Surprises or the floating village. You will return to Hanoi around 16:30-17:00. 

DAY 5: LEISURE DAY IN HANOI AND OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (B)

Today you are free until 20:30-21:00 until our driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you to Hanoi Railway Station for the night train to Sapa (schedule 21:50-06:30).

DAY 6:TREKKING IN SAPA  (B/L)

Your Sapa journey will start with visiting Lao Chai village, a Black Hmong ethnic minority village, from where you will start trekking through the rice terraces.

After lunch prepared in a local house, the walk continues through a bamboo forest to discovery Red Dao ethnic village and nearby waterfall. 

DAY 7: VISITING COLOURFUL BAC HA MARKET AND BAN PHO VILLAGE IN SAPA (B/L)

After breakfast you will visit  Bac Ha market where you will discover many special things, local drinks and food, after that keep going to the animal area, where people buy buffalos, cows and horses.

Lunch in local restaurant and then visit Ban Pho village to discover the life of ethnic people with a beautiful rice terrace fields. Then go back to Lao Cai to see China -Vietnam border gate. Your tour will finish at Lao Cai train station, where you will take a night train back to Hanoi.

DAY 8: TIME TO SAY GOODBYE - HANOI DEPARTURE (B)

Your will arrive in Hanoi around 5.30 am. We have booked for you 1 half day hotel for having rest.

Free day at your own until our driver will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight, end of the trip. Good Bye!
