Day 1: Hanoi on arrival

Welcome to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam! You will be greeted by our tour guide and transfer directly to hotel in Hanoi. The hotel room will be available at 2:00pm, and in case that you would like to secure an early-check in, an additional charge will be applied.

Day 2: Hanoi city tour

Stop At: Hanoi, Hanoi
Begin Hanoi city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh mausoleum and hear about the man who led Vietnam’s campaign for independence from French colonial rule. After dedicating his life to the liberation of his country from foreign rule, Ho Chi Minh died in 1969 and his body was preserved for posterity. During the year, the mausoleum is closed for a month and Uncle Ho is given a bit of a spruce up! Then wander the grounds to see the One Pillar Pagoda and the Presidential Palace. Then you’ll have a chance to explore the Tran Quoc Pagoda on the shore of Westlake.
In the afternoon, a visit to Vietnam’s first university: the Temple of Literature. Founded in 1076, Quoc Tu Giam was established within a temple to educate Vietnam's royalty, mandarins and members of the elite. Next to visit the Ngoc Son temple set on a tiny island on the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake.

Day 3: Hoa Lu & Tam Coc

Stop At: Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, Ninh Binh Vietnam
Road transfer in the morning, 8:00 AM our driver and tour guide pick you up at your hotel then depart for ninh binh.
After 2hours on bus arrive in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, visit two temples of King Dinh Bo Linh and King Le Hoan.
Then our driver will transfer you from Hoa Lu to Tam Coc to have lunch in a local restaurant in Tam Coc and enjoy famous specialties of Ancient Capital area.

In the afternoon, Take a 5 minute walk to the wharf and start the 2 hour boat trip to visit 3 caves: Hang Ca (First Cave), Hang Hai (Second Cave) and Hang Ba (Third Cave). Each cave owns an unique scenery which will dazzle you as you get in.
Afterwards, cycle for an hour to Bich Dong Pagoda and sight see beautiful scenic pagodas, lush paddy fields, mountains, river and caves. Then get on bus and our driver will take you back to Hanoi. When arrive in Hanoi, you will be dropped-off at your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure

Day 4: Hanoi to Halong Bay sightseeing & overnight (First day)

It’s an early start as you arrive back in Hanoi to refreshed up and have a quick breakfast before heading to Ha long Bay arriving around noon. Leave the noise of the city behind as you travel about four hours to Ha long Bay by shuttle bus. Get in a Ha long Bay Cruise beautifully and explore the jade green waters of Ha long Bay over lunch. This afternoon the tender will take you to a secluded part of the bay where the water is perfect for swimming and kayaking around the limestone karsts. You’ll return back to Cruise just in time to watch the sunset from the top deck before enjoying the bay’s freshest seafood dinner.

Day 5: Ha Long Bay sightseeing & back Hanoi (second day)

Stop At: Halong Bay, Halong Bay, Quang Ninh Province
Wake up refreshed from a good night sleep as the boat motors towards Surprise Cave, the biggest in Ha long Bay. Board the tender for a short trip to the cave and be amazed - the entry to the cave is deceptively narrow but once through, the cave opens up to a large chamber with impressive limestone formations. Surprise! Then it’s back to the boat and cruise to Ha long Port arriving around noon, where you will continue to Hanoi for overnight
