Paddling Nang River and Ba Be Lake

Ba Be National Park is a beautiful area in northern Vietnam. The park consits of a huge natural lake surrounded by high mountains and forest. This site ofers pristine nature and interesting cultural experience. You will paddle long Nang River before entering the lake. Spend your nights in local village and also paddle through Puong Cave.

Day 1: Hanoi – Bac Kan – Cho Ra – Ba Be National Park

07.30 Get to Ba Be National Park via Highway 3. Make a stop at Thai Nguyen for 20 minutes for a quick rest and breakfast. Head to Bac Can to have lunch. After lunch, we go straight to Ba Be.

14.00 Arrive at Boc Luom Dock. Start pumping the SUP and then paddle, follow Nang River through Puong Cave to get to Ba Be Lake. It takes about 3 hours on SUP to get to Ba Be Lake. On the riverside you can see the traditional house-on-stilts of the ethnic people, along with the beautiful green field and majestic mountains. Having arrived at Ba Be Lake area, we will get on the tender and go back to a homestay in Pac Ngoi village for dinner. That is all for the first day!

Day 2: An Ma Temple – Ao Tien – Dau Dang Waterfall

We have a full day to explore Ba Be Lake on SUP. After breakfast, we will leave Pac Ngoi village and paddle to Dau Dang Waterfall. On the way we will visit An Ma Temple, and then stop for lunch at Ao Tien – a secluded small lake. After lunch, we race to Dau Dang River, have a swim and rest, wait for the tender to take us back to the homestay for dinner.

Day 3: Ba Be National Park – Hanoi

Have breakfast at the homestay. Get on the tender to go back to Boc Luom Dock. The bus will take you to Bac Can for a rest and then go back to Hanoi. The tour ends here.
