Pu Luong- Ninh Binh 3 days The Escape

If you don’t have too much time in Vietnam and want to discover the hidden Pu Luong Nature Reserve and the Halong Bay on land Ninh Binh , this tour is designed for you. You will spend two days trekking in the unspoiled Pu Luong Reserve. The valley is surrounded by mountains covered by rice field terraces and jungle. The Black Thai Minority living there still live on a traditional way. The third day, you will have the chance to learn about the Ancient Capital Hoa Lu , cycle between the karst mountains to a local family house to learn about their daily life and customs to finally enjoy a boat ride in Trang An.  

DAY 1: Hanoi – Pu Luong. (L, D) 200km

Pick up at 7.30am in your hotel in Old Quarter to go to Pu Luong

After lunch,  Easy Trek to Chieng Lau, Yen, Ba villages, Bamboo rafting on Cham Stream (4.5km)

Lunch, diner and overnight at Pu Luong Eco Garden

Day 2: Explore Kho Muong village and Doi Cave (6km) – Ninh Binh 120km. (B,L,D):

Morning, trekking in Pu Luong to the biggest cave , Doi Cave (Bat cave)

Lunch at Pu Luong Eco Garden

Afternoon, transfer to Ninh Binh and free time to visit surroundings. (free bicycles available)

Diner and overnight at Ninh Binh Retreat

Day 3: Cycling to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital and boat ride in Trang An (B,L):

After breakfast, cycle to the ancient capital to learn about Vietnam History

Afternoon, Boat ride in the Ha Long Bay on land , Trang An. Enjoy peaceful atmosphere and beautiful landscapes. 

Ride back to Hanoi, arrival time around 7pm ( possibility to drop you off at Ninh Binh railway or bus station) Tour ends
