Detailed ItineraryDay 1. Arrival in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)

On arrival at the airport, Welcomed by our guide and transfer to your hotel in downtown Saigon.

Time at your leisure and overnight in HCMC.

Day 2. HCMC - Cu Chi tunnels, Saigon sightseeing

A morning drive will take you to visit the famous Cu Chi tunnels, (used by both the Viet Minh and the Viet Cong to suddenly materialize as if from nowhere, launch a lightning ambush, you will watch a short introductory video on the tunnels construction and explore the maze of the tunnels)

Drive back to Ho Chi Minh for lunch and then our guide will show you around Ho Chi Minh City. Visit the the former Presidential Palace of Ho Chi Minh City, stroll by some of the major sights of colonial Ho Chi Minh City: Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office. The huge Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Ho Chi Minh City, is packed with every conceivable commodity. Overnight in HCMC

Day 3. HCMC - Vinh Long - Can Tho

Leave HCMC for Cai Be by land transfer (2.5hours),

Take photos in Tan An town overlooking the picturesque flat rice fields.

Visit the Cai Be floating market and watch the locals trading fruit and many other commodities on board their vessels.

Visit small villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.

Upper Mekong Delta.

Visit a small family business to see how coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn are made.

Binh Hoa Phuoc village, the green pearl of Vinh Long town,

Enjoy a lunch of fresh river food served in the heart of the garden accompanied by traditional southern Vietnamese folk music. Take a delightful walk through the bonsai garden.

Boat continue to take you to Vinh Long town. Get on car and proceed to Can Tho. Check into your hotel on arrival in Can Tho. Free to explore the city on your own in the evening. You can also visit a village, meet the local people, have dinner with them and enjoy their music.

Homestay Option:

Transfer by motor boat to a small village in Cai Rang district. Check into your riverside cottage. In the afternoon, go cycling or trekking around the village to experience the rural lifestyle of the Mekong Delta people. Join a family as they prepare dinner, then share the meal with them. Enjoy an evening of traditional folk music with your neighbors. Overnight in your riverside cottage.

Day 4. Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City

Breakfast and then Visit Cat Rang Floating Market.
