HOW BAC HA SUNDAY MARKET IS UNIQUE:
Bac Ha Market located at 700m above the sea level. It's far from Sapa round 95 km and 55 km from Lao Cai city. It's called as a "little Sapa" while it’s a lot much less developed for tourism. Bac Ha market is perfect destination for whom like off-the-beaten-track treks to go to vibrant weekly markets. The Bac Ha market in particular function local scenes which were occurring each week for generations. It's the place cattle, horses, goats and canines are purchased and offered, in addition to many traditional items like saddles plus elaborate textiles, handbags and different trinkets made by the local tribes people, the Flower Hmong. Itinerary

Day 1: Sapa - Lao Chai - Ta Van

Stop At: Lao Cai, Lao Cai, Lao Cai Province
Transfer from Hanoi to Sapa by train.

Day 2: Sapa - Lao chai - Ta Van

Stop At: Ta Van, Ta Van, Lao Cai Province
After breakfast we leave the hotel and start trekking down the valley to the Muong Hoa River and from here to the Black H'mong village Lao Chai. Black H'mong is one of the biggest minority groups in the Sapa area. After this you continue to Ta Van village to visit the Zay people. The Zay houses are built of wood and bamboo with a clay floor. Have picnic lunch on the way then keep going to the bottom of Sapa valley. Jeep back to Sapa in the afternoon.

Day 3: Sapa - Cat Cat - Sin Chai

Stop At: Cat Cat village, Sapa 330000 Vietnam
Trek around 10 km to visit two villages of the Black H'mong (Catcat and SinChai).
Duration: 5 hours

Day 4: Sapa- Bac Ha market - Lao Cai - Hanoi

Stop At: Bac Ha Market, Bac Ha 330000 Vietnam
Checking out the hotel then take the minibus to go to Bac Ha (arrive at about 10.00AM). At the market day you have opportunities to meet local people from the remote villages in their traditional costumes. They are 4 different tribal groups Flower Hmong, Black Dao, Toy and Phi La, in the afternoon taking 2 hour walk to visit Ban Phi – A Flower Hmong village which is located in scenic valley.
