Lao Chai - Ta Van village is 7 km far from the centre town where ethnic minority communities are living. The tourist will enjoy marvelous panorama of the village with the fresh air, see terrace fields (Sapa’s terraced fields has been voted one of the world’s seven most beautiful and magnificent terraced fields in the world by US-based Travel & Leisure Magazine), you can also learn about their culture and customs.

Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Sapa Valley

Stop At: Cat Cat village, Sapa 330000 Vietnam
06:45 – 07:15: Our drive will pick you up at the meeting point then depart to Sapa.
After lunch we will visit local villages by trekking downhill to Cat Cat village which is occupied by the Black H’mong tribe. Here, you can see the hydroelectric power station which was built by the French in twentieth century.
Evening: After dinner, you are free to explore the charm of Sapa Town by night, enjoy roasted corn, baked eggs beside charcoal fire or go shopping.
Overnight at hotel in Sa Pa.

Day 2: Sapa Valley - Ham Rong Mountain - Fansipan Mountain

Stop At: Ham Rong Mountain, Sapa 100000 Vietnam
After breakfast, we will visit Ham Rong Mountain Park ~ this park is essentially a long cobblestone walkway to the top of Ham Rong Mountain. Along the way, there are countless potted orchids, beautifully landscaped gardens and a few really tacky statues of cartoon characters like Scooby Doo and Mickey Mouse.
Another interesting activity is conquering San May (Cloud Yard), the peak of Ham Rong Mountain at the altitude of 1800m to enjoy the imposing panorama of Sapa town. In sunny days, from here tourists can even see the peak of Fansipan under clear sky with white cloud floating around. Along the way to San May, tourists may drop by Cong Troi 1, Cong Troi 2 (Heaven Gate 1 and 2) for resting and photo taking. These places also offer visitors a great view to French villas and terraced fields below.
Afternoon: Free at own leisure, visit Sapa town, take photos, buy souvenirs or visit Love Waterfall...Dinner at local restaurant.

Stop At: Fansipan Mountain, Sapa 330000 Vietnam
14:00 Driver take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station and spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.
17: 00 Come back to Fansipan Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town. Have dinner at local restaurant.

Day 3: Lao Chai Village - Ta Van Village - Sapa Valley - Hanoi

Stop At: Ta Van Village, Sapa 330000 Vietnam
After breakfast, we will visit local villages by trekking downhill to Y Linh Ho and Muong Hoa Valley through rice paddies and small hamlets to learn the life of hill tribes here. Communications exchange with local people in Lao Chai village then continuing walking through villages and rice terraced fields to Lao Chai; Ta Van villages settled by Dzay ethnic and keep trekking down to the bottom of SAPA valley which supposed to be the most beautiful one in the area. Return hotel for freshen up and check out then to local restaurant for lunch.
