Day 1: Birding at Tan Phu

Stop At: Tan Phu, Tan Phu, Dong Nai Province
Pick up in Ho Chi Minh City in the early morning, about 3 hours driving to Cat Tien National Park stop en route at Tan Phu and on the trail nearby the tourism centre looking for Orange -necked Partridge can be found. Other specialities here are Indochinese Green Magpie, Bar-bellied and Blue-rumped Pittas. Staying at Tourism Centre

Day 2: Crocodile lake

Stop At: Crocodile Lake, Tan Phu, Cat Tien National Park 810000 Vietnam
Visit Crocodile lake by Jeep, a long list of targets such as Germain’s Peacock Pheasant, Siamese Fireback, Green Peafowl, Wreathed Hornbill, Lesser Adjutant, Woolly-necked Stork, Blue-rumped and Bar-bellied Pittas and many other widespread species such as Doves, Bulbuls, Purple Swamphen, White-breasted Waterhen, Kingfishers, etc… Staying at Crocodile lake

Day 3: Ranger station

Day 4: Da Lat bird watching

Stop At: Da Lat, Da Lat, Lam Dong Province
Leaving for Da Lat – Overnight in Da Lat

After early morning birding at Cat Tien, we will drive northwards through the cultivated lowlands before climbing up onto the Lang Bian Plateau and the charming town of Da Lat. We will make several stops along the way at any patch of interesting-looking habitat, including some very attractive waterfalls. The hill resort of Da Lat, perhaps the most attractive large town in Vietnam, is located at 4,900 feet (ca. 1,475 meters) in a temperate region dotted with lakes and waterfalls and surrounded by evergreen forests, including various native pine woodlands.

Day 5: Ta Nung Valley

Stop At: Tuyen Lam Lake, Tran Thanh Tong, Da Lat Vietnam
