Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi & Discovery of the city

Morning: After breakfast, departure by car for a journey of about 100km, to reach Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Viet Nam in the tenth century, located in the province of Ninh Binh. Arriving at Hoa Lu, you will visit the temple of Dinh Tien Hoang, whose foundations date from the tenth century, it was restored in the seventeenth century in honor of Emperor Dinh Tien Hoang (first emperor of Vietnam after the Chinese rule ).

Then you will discover the surroundings of Tam Coc by an easy bike ride on flat trails. You will be surrounded by karsts, limestone mountains, giving totally atypical landscapes! You will understand why this place bears the nickname "Halong Bay Land" (Note: possibility to continue by car, for those who do not want to ride a bike). Have lunch in one of the local restaurants before visiting Tam Coc.

Day 3: Lao Cai - Nghia Lo - You - Mu Cang Chai (L)
Stop At: Nghia Lo, Nghia Lo, Yen Bai Province
Morning: Arrived at Lao Cai station you will drive to the town of Nghia Lo where Muong Lo Valley is located. Muong Lo is the second largest rice granary in the north-west and the capital of the Thai ethnic group. Here, for 700 years, they cultivate rice and build their traditional houses made of ironwood (iroko wood) and bamboo. Depending on the time available, you can make a short visit to a Thai village.

Afternoon: After lunch at Tu Le, you will pass by Khau Pha pass to reach Mu Cang Chai. This pass is an ideal place to get the best pictures of rice terraces. Mu Cang Chai is considered in Vietnam as one of the best places for photographers and nature lovers.

Day 4: Mu Cang Chai - Sapa - Lao cai - Hanoi (B -L -)

Arrival in Hue, welcome by your guide and your driver for the visit of the Mausoleum of Emperor Tu Duc, the fourth emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty who ruled from 1847 to 1883. Then, walk to the local market to buy ingredients for cooking later, during a cooking class in the village of Thuy Bieu.
