This 3-day adventure takes you to see Mu Cang Chai, visit the most beautiful rice terrace valleys in north-western Vietnam. There you can witness a symbolic beauty of northwestern hill of Vietnam - the rice terraces, as well as mingle with and discover the local life of Thai and Black Hmong Minorities. Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi - Mu Cang Chai

Stop At: Khau Pha Pass, Mu Cang Chai Vietnam
Pick up at your hotel in Hanoi at 8 AM. After getting out of bustle and hustle Hanoi, time to enjoy the countryside view through the windows while driving northwestward to Yen Bai province. Arrive Khau Pha Pass early in the afternoon. It is regarded as one of the 4 greatest passes in Northern Vietnam. Enjoy your time with panoramic view from 2000m above sea level, looking down the valley with lush rice terraces.

Stop At: Mu Cang Chai, National Road 32, Yen Bai 320000 Vietnam
Later on, continue to Mu Cang Chai where you stay overnight at a local homestay of Thai ethnic minority. Have a short walk to discover the village before dinner and call it a day.

Day 2: Mu Cang Chai Full Day Trekking

Stop At: Mu Cang Chai, National Road 32, Yen Bai 320000 Vietnam
In the morning, get a transfer to the full day trekking point. Our trek will start from Che Cu Nha to La Pan Tan on a 17 km trail. This trek will definitely offer us a good opportunity to see the main spots and admire the beauty of amazing rice terraces that Mu Cang Chai has to offer. You are also able to visit a few villages of the Hmong hill tribes scattered in the area.

Get picked up at around 4.00 PM. Transfer back to your homestay after a meaningful day of adventure.

Day 3: Mu Cang Chai - Hanoi
