Visit Duong Lam Ancient Village
Duong Lam is an ancient village in Son Tay, Hanoi. It is the first-recognized ancient village in Vietnam. The ancient village has a history of about 1,200 years with many houses dating back up to 400 years. Duong Lam is also the homeland of two kings in Vietnam history.

We pick you up at your hotel and depart to Duong Lam Ancient Village, which is far about 45 kilometers away from Hanoi. Duong Lam ancient village is famous not only by having ancient houses with more than a century old; this ancient land also has rustic and delicious dishes.
When we arrive, we start by visiting Mong Phu temple, some ancient houses and then enjoy local products such as rice wine and rice cakes. Mong Phu temple was a fine wooden structure with a curved tiled roof, the layout was in the shape of the letter U. Most of the main buildings hardwood floor, often used as dinning hall during village feasts, was elevated a foot above ground, except for the central part where an altar dedicated to Tan Vien, their protector genie, is placed.
After that, you get a bicycle and ride along countryside road. The fresh air here will make you feel relax and peaceful.
We continue visit some historical vestiges such as Giang Van Minh Worship House, Temples of King Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung two famous kings in Vietnam history. Cycling uphill, you will see a natural holy well which stores clear water all the year round. Next, you have lunch with a local family and then get ready to return to Hanoi.
