Luapula Waterfalls

Zambia is one of the most water-rich countries in Africa and her many rivers cascade into fabulous displays of falling water as they wind over the undulating landscape. The most spectacular is of course the not-to-be-missed Victoria Falls, but there are 17 other beautiful falls dotted around the country. On this waterfall tour we get to visit some of the most spectacular falls in the Northern Province.

This fully inclusive package starts and ends in Lusaka. Accommodation will be in tents which we'll provide - best thing about a tent is you can pitch in anywhere. That means we'll be camping near the waterfalls. Swimming is allowed though at your own risk. On this tour we’ll visit the main falls in the northern region and a few other attractions. The last night will be spent in Samfya by Lake Bangweulu before herding back to Lusaka.

• Ntumbachushi Falls on Ngona river in Luapula Province
• Lumangwe Falls on the Kalungwishi river in Northern Province with a height of 30-40m and a width of 160m
• Ntumbachushi Falls on the Kalungwishi river in the Northern Province
• Samfya Beach (Lake Bangweulu)
