Itinerary

Day 1: City Tour on Day of Arrival

Stop At: Harare, Harare, Harare Province
Harare City is the capital city of Zimbabwe. It is the largest city of Zimbabwe sitting on one of the higher parts of the Highveld plateau of Zimbabwe at an elevation of 1,483 metres. Harare city is the cultural, commercial, and economic hub of the country . It also serves as the venue for several international summits and games. The tour will also include the visits to the National Heroes Acre, the natural history museums and the kopje. Entrance Fees are not included.

Day 2: Masvingo Day

Stop At: Masvingo, Masvingo, Masvingo Province
About 297 KM from Harare to Masvingo, You will be transferred from Cresta Oasis Hotel to Masvingo, about 4 hours drive . Breakfast will be packed for you from the Cresta Oasis Hotel and lunch will be saved in Masvingo at any restaurant of your choice , own account.

Stop At: Great Zimbabwe National Monument, Masvingo Zimbabwe
Great Zimbabwe Ruins- (Dzimba-dza-mabwe, Houses of Stone) is the second national monument in Zimbabwe. Great Zimbabwe Ruins are the main tourist attraction with its stone structures being the largest in sub-Saharan Africa.

Stop At: Lake Mutirikwi, Zimbabwe
Kyle Dam/Lake Kyle also known as Lake Mutirikwi is the largest inland man-made lake in Zimbabwe with a wide variety of fish about 21 species. The lake shore has plenty of lay-byes to park and enjoy the scenery of granite, Miombo woodlands and rural life.

Day 3: To The Hills Day

Stop At: Bulawayo, Bulawayo, Bulawayo Province
The transfer is about 282 km from Masvingo to Bulawayo as an early start, pick up is at 6 am and breakfast is packed. The drive is about 4 hours. A city tour of Bulawayo and a visit to the Art Gallery, Museum and Township tours.

Stop At: Matobo National Park - The Matopos, Matobo National Park - The Matopos, Matabeleland South Province
After touring the City of Kings, Bulawayo, you are then transferred to the Matopos for hotel check-in and dinner.

Day 4: Matopo Activities Day

Stop At: Matobo Hills, Matobo National Park - The Matopos Zimbabwe
Matopo Hills (A World Heritage Site) is the highest concentration of prehistoric rock paintings in Southern Africa. The area is home to huge diversity of flora and fauna and is rich in history and legend. Guests may choose from the variety of activities that are being offered what to experience. Activities include rhino tracking, hiking, historical excursions, cultural and village tours, bicycle ride , bush walk and cave paintings.

Day 5: Matobo - Hwange Transfer and Tour

Stop At: Hwange National Park, Hwange National Park, Matabeleland North Province
Today we are having our packed breakfast and transferred to Hwange National Park. After check-in at the hotel and lunch if necessary, we proceed to visit the Painted Dog Conservation.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Painted Dog Conservation, Opposite Hwange National Park Airport, Hwange Zimbabwe
Painted Dog Conservation was founded in 1992 by Dr Greg Rasmussen ,for the protection of the painted dogs (Lycaon pictus) and their habitat. Painted Dog Conservation works to engage and incorporate local communities in protecting painted dogs in Zimbabwe. The painted dog, or African wild dog, was once common in Africa with estimates of over half a million spread among 39 countries. Current estimates put their numbers at about 3,000 only found in Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Day 6: Victoria Falls

Stop At: Hwange National Park, Hwange National Park, Matabeleland North Province
Half-Day Hwange Game Drive:
Early in the morning we are going out for a closer view of the fauna and flora. Hwange National Park is the largest park and protected area in Zimbabwe, offering diverse habitats and vegetation types. Hwange National Park is famous for its large concentrations of wildlife, particularly elephants.

Stop At: Victoria Falls, Victoria Falls, Matabeleland North Province
Transfer:

Day 7: Tour of the Falls & Star Gazing

A two and half hour tour of the Mighty Zambezi is breath taking as you explore the gorge. Victoria Falls is one of the 8 natural wonders of the world and is the highest of the three big waterfalls of the world that includes Niagara and Iguacu Falls. In addition to the falls, you may also see some wildlife such as Bushbuck, Warthog, Baboons etc. Get ready with the cameras and take the memories with you back home.

After a walking tour of the falls, we now give you a bird’s eye view of the falls, the upper Zambezi and the gorges below.

After helicopter flight you have an opportunity to choose from the list of activities that you may like to experience during the day . Activities include bunji jumping, elephant interaction, lion interaction, white water rafting (seasonal ), zip line , bridge swing , village tours , Zambezi National Park game drive,and many more.
