Bears - When Territory Meets 2018 HD
Bears often Establish Rank by Displaying the Size of their Body, Flexing and Walking with a Stiff Gait. Here is a Short Clip of 2 Black Bears we came across a couple of days ago... The Larger Bear gradually Changes it's Behavior from Foraging to Threatening as the two Bears become Closer. When the the Larger Bear becomes increasingly Agitated(sorry for the trees, we weren't in the position to move here), it decides to Confront the Smaller Bear, and the second Bear Flees. Typically, Bears will Avoid any Chance of a Squabble or Fight, often preferring to move away from each other much earlier than this type of Encounter.
